And I Love You so

Last Sunday, August 30, 2009 we watched “And I Love You So” together with my Ate Mew, Ate Roxan and Kuya Mark. We chose to watch the last full show of the movie the screening time was 10 pm.

Lara (Bea Alonzo) a pre school teacher, she is married at the age of 24. She found a perfect husband in Oliver (Derek Ramsay). Oliver did everything to make Lara fall in love with him over again. They were Boyfriend and Girlfriend for almost 5 years, but their marriage last only for 5 months because Oliver has an aneurysm and dies. After 7 months, Lara is still sorrowful, incapable to move on. The he meet Chris (Sam Milby), an obsessive man who also mislaid his wife because of betrayal, but it is his wife’s fault. They become friends and help each other to move on. As they friendship grows, their unmistakable attraction also grows. Soon, the two fall in love with each other.

It is a story that shows not to be afraid in falling in love all over again. It fits to those people who lost their love ones. It can edify you on how you will take care each every moment while you are with you love one. For me, it is very depressing, especially to those people who recently lost a loved one. It was a movie with a real life scenario touching hearts of young lovers and not so young lovers. The movie highlights the importance of living our life to the fullest because each time is precious. It will inspire you to move on and to love again.

It made me cry, “di ako nahihiya kahit nandun pa sila ate haha, kase sila din naiiya haha”. It touches my heart, especially the scene of Bea Alonzo, when she was alone in the school; she put out what she really feels “I hate you! I hate you!” that was the words she said with full of anger. I feel her emotion even though I’ve never been in her situation. That’s the proof that this movie is very touching. As my realization grows, it made me think that we need to cherish every moment of our lives, with our parents, special someone and friends. It’s not easy to lose one’s loved. It takes a lifetime to forget and to heal the wounds. Losing one’s loved is not the end of our lives. Be thankful that you’re alive, and worth living for. We need to move on and continue what we have started.

QUOTABLE QUOTES

Gusto ko magmahal ulit pero paano ko gagawin yun kung sa puso ko buhay na buhay ka pa,”

-- Lara (Bea Alonzo)

“Suffering is an option, happiness is a choice”

Live LIFE to the fullest :)

Love gives meaning to our lives, as do friendship, or art or faith in God. These are factors of true happiness, of inner peace, of feelings of harmony, allowing meaning to our existence. However, there is the other side. There is the cruelty of life, the pain, the evil, not to talk of death.

Is between these pendulums the positive, the one that gives happiness and meaning, and the negative that our lives are lived? Moreover, when we consider all that, we turn up at a diverse and disagreeing set of thoughts about the meaning and purpose of life. Some questions draw closer into my mind. Like, what is my purpose in this humankind? How can we attain true happiness?

For me, I believe that different people was created with different purpose in life to make our world better. I think I was born to be a good daughter to my parents, a good sister to my siblings, a good friend to all of my friends, and a good servant to our dearest God. But I know that all of us is intentionally wants to live a prosperous life that will contribute to grow the human race in our own little ways. We need to discover our true purpose of existing in this world. Because it is, about whom you really are physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

How can we attain true happiness? Happiness is what we all seek for, and what we are longing for. Attaining happiness has many strange journeys. Sometimes, you are hurting other people for you to be able to attain your happiness without any intention. It is true success, not every one would be happy nor is rich, not every one is happy alone, that is why I truly believe in the passage “No one is an island”. Not every one is happy with a certain career; happiness is measurable according to the individuals’s standard for themselves.

For me, I am happy as long as I am not hurting other people. That is why I am very sensitive with the feelings of the people around me. But it doesn’t mean that I had already attained my happiness. I have my own pleasures and contentment in my life. I am not fully reaching my true happiness; still, some needs are not yet on my hands right now. Maybe its god’s will, that he will help me to conquer my happiness not today, but tomorrow.

You made my day ;]

As I started my college life, I begin to meet new friends. Let myself introduce to you my new friends namely Rochelle Orcullo, Helen Manzano, Charlyn Andrade, and Kelvin Barroso. Rochelle is my first friend in college days, I did not expect someone like her to become one of my friend, she is very gorgeous and attractive (oi flattered cia haha). Helen is very jolly and fun to be with, she always brings her make- up accessories, and Kelvin thought that it was a laptop because it is too large. Charlyn is the most quite among us. Kelvin is the only torn among the roses.

We are always together during TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, and SATURDAY. We use to talk during our free time. We made many plans such as going to Luneta Park, Robinsons Ermita, Mall of Asia, Riding Kalesa courtesy of Kelvin (haha), and going to Divisoria.

We love foods, its part of our habit. We use to eat siomai in siomai house, waffle in waffle time, siopao and gulp in 7/11, and lastly the sisig and bicol express in the canteen near our school ( anu name nun? ). We love to take pictures in any angle (haha picture addicts) even in LRT we use to take pictures (walang hiya hiya, pakapalan ng face haha). Before I forgot, part of our lives is SINGING. We use to go to karaoke hub to make some noise (haha). All of us our focus in our studies, we are helping each other in terms of reviewing before exams or quizzes.

As what Rochelle told me “Di niya akalain na magiging close kame kaagad”, I believe to her, in a very short time we already shared many thing in our lives.

-- sana kahit magkakaiba na kame ng sections sa mga darating na taon, magkaroon pa rin ng chance na mag bonding ulet kame haha drama :)). Meron pa kameng 2 months para mag bonding, after that, 1st year 2nd sem na.

You are the best :) THANK YOU !

I was inspired to make a post about Pres. Corazon Aquino. We all know that she is the first woman president not only in the Philippines but also in Asia. After the sudden death of the president, Filipinos set aside the divisions to honor Cory Aquino. Unity is a rare thing in our country; we have it now, and adding to the feelings of grief is the wistful realization that it took the passing of Cory to reunite a divided nation.

She is a woman of integrity, purity, great loved, and intentions. She is also a sign of democracy and freedom. She is the second mother of all nations, of all the Filipinos. She is an outstanding leader in our country, a good friend, and a great mother.

I was touch, and teary eyed as I watched the neurological services of the president. Moreover, when Kris Aquino (youngest daughter of Cory Aquino) shared the stories during their last few moments with their Mom, my heart was heartrending. I don’t want to see Kris Aquino crying, because myself is also crying. I cannot forget what Br. Armin Luistro FSC said (a Lasallian Brother) “the heart of a saint”.

( Speaking of Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC, I remember that he have me given a rosary during my 1st year high in DLSAU, not only me but all the students, when he lead a mass for all of us. I still have it until now.) **share lang !

Even though I’m not yet in this world during Cory’s presidency, and as a member of the youth, I feel the love and respect of the people. Now I know why she’s very loved by all the people around her. Its now clear on my mind. As a youth, I am very thankful to Cory Aquino because of the freedom and democracy she had given before that I am enjoying right now.

Freshmen dude ..

Being a college student is extraordinarily diverse from a high school student. Before, your friends are at hand to assist you with your home works and projects. Now it is different, you separate ways, and because of that, you have to effort for that matter by yourself without the help of your associates.

Here it goes college life on the go. You will meet up lots of NEW in each day you will move toward into the four corners of your classroom. New adjustment, new circle of friends, new environment, new experiences, new tasks, this is more serious than before. You do not need to sit back and slow down; you need to study harder so that your career plan will grow. This is not a game.

July 16, 2009, it has been a month in view of the fact that I cross the threshold of college life. At this time, I believe that being a college student is a serious duty. This is the phase where the people around you or your mentors will practice you to boost your professionalism. Nevertheless, it is not your mentors alone, you also need to be professional independently for you to be able to geared up yourself in the next episode of your life or in other words to the communal world of life.
